The Hagman Family bought the old Coltman Schoolhouse just a couple of years ago and began renovating the gym.  It was a huge job, but we enjoy the results and love to share it with others!

About the Coaches

Did you know? The coaches at Coltman Academy Tumbling and Dance have many years of experience and professional training in Tumbling and Dance, as well as in Preschool. We teach because we love watching children and teens learn new skills that will help them throughout their life.

Coach Amy: Grew up in a gym, so her passion for gymnastics started at a very early age. She started coaching Tumbling at the age of 14, where her love for teaching flourished.  She participated in gymnastics at USU.  She has coached at various different Gymnastics and dance gyms over the years in Oregon, Utah and Idaho. She became an Olympic level coach for double mini, tumbling and tramp. She also became a USGA judge in those areas. Amy continues to participate in tumbling still, and has grown to master teaching tumbling skills over the 30+ years of her coaching career.  She has a degree in CommD, (minor in Deaf Ed.) and spent a few years as a Speech Pathologist.  She also has taught in several different Preschools over the past 20 years, and has developed her own Preschool program that not only teaches children their ABC's and 123's but teaches so many other necessary life skills. Being a mother of 5, (some with disabilities) gives her first hand experience with teaching children and wanting what is best for them.
